When the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos take the field on Thursday night at Energy Power Field at Mile High, two of the NFL’s least productive offenses will hit the national spotlight.
The Colts are the league’s lowest-scoring offense (14.3 ppg) and the Broncos are in the bottom three (16.5). So, naturally, books have this Thursday night matchup projected to be a low-scoring affair — one of the lower-scoring games of Week 5.
Specifically, Tipico Sportsbook has the over/under set at 42.5 points, where 37 percent of bettors are taking the Over while 63 percent have bet on the Under. And in a game where each team is down its top running back (Jonathan Taylor and Javonte Williams), the under might even be more enticing.
Also at Tipico, the 2-2 Denver Broncos enter as 3.5-point favorites at home. Bettors are quite confident that Denver will remain undefeated at home (2-0) following Thursday’s game. In fact, 81 percent of the moneyline bets at Tipico are on the Broncos, and 67 percent of bets expect Denver to cover the spread.
Thursday night games are always tricky to bet on and this one should be no different. To follow along with your bet, tune into Prime Video at 8:15 p.m. ET.
