Even though we saw far less of the West Lynn native than we (and very likely he) were hoping for in the 2022-23 NBA season, reserve point guard Payton Pritchard made the most of his floor time when he did get the call in a crowded Boston Celtics backcourt.
The former Oregon player has been a consummate professional, staying ready for whenever Boston might need him to step into a bigger role due to an injury, foul trouble or beneficial matchup. Pritchard averaged 5.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 41.2% from the floor, 36.4% from beyond the arc, and 75% from the free-throw line.
