Premium ingredients and food products imported from Italy are presented during the "Italian Food Showcase", which is running at four select branches of Gourmet Market, at The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan, Emporium, EmQuartier and Paragon, until July 27 and again from Aug 1 to Sept 30.
A collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency and the Embassy of Italy, the event brings almost 400 items from 56 brands to local Thais and expats searching for a taste of the authentic cuisine of Italy.
Highlights are newly featured brands exclusively available at Gourmet Market, with special promotions.
They include Marulo Spaghetti Oplontini, one of the most popular pastas made from semolina flour produced from durum wheat; La Pasta Di Aldo Tagliatelle with Lemon; Zucchi extra virgin olive oil; Barbera Sicilia bio extra virgin olive oil; Terra Del Tuono Aceto Balsamico di Modena, a premium dark coloured wine vinegar; and I Solai Balsamic of Modena, a balsamic vinegar.
Besides Doria Bucaneve biscuits and Bistefani Krumiri Classici cookies, there are many other delicious products such as Tartufi Jimmy Truffle & Mushroom, Zanetti Parmigiano Reggiano and Levoni Smoked Guanciale.
Shoppers can also select and purchase premium ingredients of their choices and head to the "You Hunt We Cook" counter where gourmet chefs will be ready to craft their favourite menus.
