Ever dreamt about getting paid to go to festivals? Well now’s the time to quit that day job and get out the glitter.
One lucky person will get paid to go to the top festivals around the UK this summer. At £7,500 for around a month’s work, it’s no wonder it’s being advertised as the ‘best job ever’.
Ticketing outlet Skiddle is looking for an official ‘Festival Reporter’ to attend the biggest and best festivals around the UK this year - and no doubt gloat to everyone else about what an incredible time they’re having this summer.

The lucky individual will get paid to dance their heart out to live music from the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, David Guetta and Megan the Stallion all over the UK this summer.
This part time role will allow those with a creative streak to produce fun and exciting content across some of the UK’s most famous festivals, capturing memory making moments and seeking out the very best of each event, with their content published across Skiddle’s social platforms.
In total, the lucky individual chosen for the role will attend 13 festivals between May and August.

From seeing 50 Cent at Parklife in Manchester to dancing to Clean Bandit at Highest Point in Lancaster, this dream job pays £7,500 plus all expenses including travel to and from the festivals and meal costs for each day.
The advert for the job says Skiddle is looking for a ‘talented, career-driven individual to join our team’.
It says the role requires a ‘confident and outgoing’, ‘resilient and reliable person’ with a passion for live music and festivals.
Applicants must be ‘confident behind and in front of a camera’, have a ‘passion for producing high-quality content’, must be willing to travel the length and breadth of the UK and required to work evenings/weekends.
Festivals the successful applicant will be required to attend are: Highest Point, Lancaster (May 12- 15); Dream Valley, Kent (May 28); Creamfields South, Chelmsford (June 2-4); Parklife, Manchester (June 11-12); One Out Fest, London (June 18; Retro In The Park, Burnley (July) 2; Kubix, Sunderland (July 9); Bluedot, Macclesfield (July 21-24); Belladrum, Inverness (July 28-30); Rock The Mote, Kent (August 6); Garage Nation Outdoor Fest, London (August 13); Weyfest, Farnham, (August 19 - 21) and Creamfields North, Cheshire (August 25 - 28).
