Best Easter eggs of 2023 for a delicious chocolatey treat

Easter eggs began filling the supermarket shelves on Boxing Day, so we don’t blame you if you’ve already sampled some of this year’s chocolatey offering. The temptation is just too great.

If you’ve spent any time at all in your local Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose or M&S, you will have noticed the expansive selection of egg-cellent seasonal milk, white and dark creations. From Cadbury and Nestle, to your high end artisinal labels, for 2023, our favourite chocolatiers have gone all out so that no matter your preferences or dietary requirements, you can indulge this Easter.

The market is plentiful and brimming with dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan alternatives to go alongside your classic Dairy Milk varieties. There are also sweet-filled, beauty and keepsake alternatives too - but for us, there is just something far more satisfying about finding our 4pm snack bar of choice paired alongside a shell of mouth-wateringly delicious chocolate. But where should you start?

If you are feeling overwhelmed by the sheer volume of Easter eggs available, you have come to the right place. We have taken it upon ourselves to rigorously test a seemingly endless quantity of the limited-edition combinations to find the ones that won’t disappoint whether you’re gifting of self-gifting. It’s a tough job but someone’s got to do it.

See below for our edit of the Easter eggs that deserve your attention in 2023.
