A man became "besotted" with a colleague at work and bombarded her with messages during a nine-month stalking campaign.
Raed Khirfan, 38, believed that a relationship was forming with the female employee after striking up a friendship with her while working at a pizza shop.
Khirfan, of Spennymoor, County Durham, then began sending her several messages - despite the fact that she had children and was in a stable relationship, Chronicle Live reports.
