Cincinnati Bengals senior personnel executive Trey Brown has a connection to the New England Patriots worth mentioning as the hiring cycle continues to heat up.
Those Patriots just hired Jerod Mayo as head coach and will now move to fill such roles as general manager.
In an interesting twist, as pointed out by CLNS Media’s Taylor Kyles, there’s a connection there — Brown was a scouting assistant and area scout for the Patriots back in 2012.
Brown has already been prominent in the hiring cycle, notably getting an opportunity to interview for the general manager position with the Las Vegas Raiders.
With the Patriots moving quickly, Brown might be one to watch for the budding plan in Foxboro, too.
