Bengals rookie Myles Murphy returns to practice with a bang

Cincinnati Bengals first-round pick Myles Murphy returned to practice on Monday and made an immediate impact.

As Pro Football Network’s Jay Morrison explained it, Murphy was so explosive in his comeback bid that at one point, he shoved Jackson Carman back into quarterback Jake Browning, resulting in the passer going away limping and getting replaced.

This development came on the heels of a brutally slow start to training camp for Murphy, who then missed the team’s second preseason game with an illness.

Now back from that illness, Murphy has an opportunity to start a higher climb into the rotation on the edge as he hopes to be active on gameday as a rookie.
