Benfica star Chiquinho has revealed his excitement at facing Newcastle United in the Eusebio Cup final in Lisbon tomorrow night.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder was mobbed by Benfica fans after they invaded the field at the end of their 4-2 win over Girona last week in Switzerland. But now they move back on to the bigger stage at Estadio da Luz for their final friendly of pre-season.
After fans invaded the field, Chiquinho said: "It's a sign that our fans believe in us. It's a good feeling but we now have to keep that going.
"Now we look forward to the Eusébio Cup. We really want to show ourselves to our fans on Tuesday.

"We want to play a good game to make them happy."
Benfica have looked lively in pre-season under German coach Roger Schmidt. And Chiquinho said: "The coach has transmitted his ideas. "We have assimilated well, we have worked well. I believe it will be a good year for us."
Benfica are bidding to win the Eusebio Cup for the first time since 2012 when they thumped Real Madrid in the showpiece in Lisbon. The Portuguese club have confirmed that the trophy will be presented for the winners tomorrow night.
