Benfica fans clapped and cheered as their team arrived in Liverpool ahead of Wednesday's Champions League match.
The Portuguese team landed at Liverpool John Lennon Airport on Tuesday evening before getting on a coach and making their way into Liverpool City Centre. The team, who are staying at the Innside Hotel on Old Hall Street, were greeted by a number of Benfica fans.
As the white coach pulled up outside the hotel fans clapped, cheered and waved at the staff and players onboard the coach. Merseyside Police were in attendance at the scene as fans gathered.

The coach drove into the van bay so the players and staff could enter the hotel through another entrance.
Liverpool are preparing for another European night under the lights at Anfield against Benfica as they look to capitalise on their two-goal lead after last week's 3-1 win. The Reds are the heavy favourites with Betfred at 2/7 while Benfica are 9/1 longshots to get a win and a draw is 11/2.
The Reds have a busy schedule this week as they travel to Wembley on Saturday for the FA Cup Semi-Final against Manchester City.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport tweeted when the Benfica players arrived, they said: "Benfica players have just arrived in Liverpool for their Champions League quarter-final second leg at Anfield tomorrow!"
