Ben Platt, the Tony Award-winning actor and singer, is set to embark on a new musical journey with the release of his first solo album, 'Honeymind.' To celebrate this milestone, Platt has announced a special concert residency at Broadway's historic Palace Theatre.
In a statement shared on his Instagram, Platt expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to perform at The Palace, drawing inspiration from legendary performers like Liza Minnelli and Judy Garland. The concert residency, titled 'Ben Platt Live at the Palace,' is scheduled to run from May 28 to June 15, featuring a total of 18 performances.
The show, directed by Michael Arden, will showcase a mix of songs from Platt's new album, as well as selections from his previous works such as 'Reverie' and 'Sing to Me Instead.' Fans can also expect some surprises and possibly a nod to Platt's Broadway roots with songs from 'The Book of Mormon' and 'The Politician.'
The Palace Theatre, known for its rich history of hosting iconic performances by artists like Elvis Presley, Diana Ross, and Bette Midler, has undergone renovations to welcome Platt and his audience for this special event.

In anticipation of the album release on May 31st, Platt recently dropped the first single 'Andrew' along with a visually stunning music video directed by Sam Wrench.
