Ben Ofoedu’s ‘stalker arrested’ after bombarding Vanessa Feltz’s ex with ‘malicious messages’

Ben Ofoedu’s alleged stalker has been arrested after claims she bombarded him with chilling messages on social media.

Vanessa Feltz’s 50-year-old ex fiancé is also said to have had a woman ring his phone up to 100 times a day and she is accused of sending the Phats and Small singer photos of herself outside his home.

It has been claimed that the woman contacted Ofoedu’s co-stars and friends on social media as he starred in the West End production of musical Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding.

The Metropolitan Police told the Standard: “On Wednesday, 18 January and Thursday, 5 February police received reports of malicious communication in relation to messages and comments posted on the social media platforms of a man and a woman.

“A 34 year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the investigation and bailed until a date in July.

“The investigation is ongoing,” they added.

Ofoedu first claimed he was being harrassed in March, two months after he split from Feltz after 16 years after she revealed he had been unfaithful.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Danger! [A stalker] is contacting my followers and spreading lies. She’s dangerous and has history of this.”

He then posted a video to Instagram Stories, saying: “People are asking me if I am ok. I’m definitely ok. No problem at all.”

Revealing that he had been harassed for months he said: “It’s a girl who I think is contacting some of my followers and spreading stuff, this and that. Just beware.

“She doesn’t go under her real name so she’ll contact you from a troll account and she’s just a troll basically and she’s been bothering me for months and stuff like that.

“So much so that the Metropolitan police are involved. So if you get any dodgy messages from anyone, it’s her.”

He gave a further update in April where he shared recordings of himself receiving a call from the woman on TikTok.

“It’s Tuesday 6th April and this is what stalking sounds like. It’s a private number but I know who’s on the other end. It’s my stalker,” he explained in one clip

He then held the camera up to his phone as he accepted the incoming call.

“She’s called me about 10 times today... here she goes again,” he said as his ringtone sounded.
