
The founders of Ben & Jerry’s have demanded the brand be "released" from its ice cream parent business ahead of a planned stock market float.
Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield penned an open letter, calling for independence. Addressed to Magnum’s board and potential investors, their plea stated they do not wish for the 1978-founded brand to be part of the spun-off venture, as Magnum spoke to investors and analysts in London.
