Ben Foster reveals team-mates dodged playing Liverpool at Anfield over fear

Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has admitted he has known team-mates who have purposely missed playing against Liverpool away from home due to worries of the full-time result.

The 38-year-old has represented four different sides in the Premier League and is no stranger to trips to Anfield, having made his maiden top-flight appearance back in the 2007/08 campaign.

Although certain individuals he has played alongside have found facing the Reds a daunting prospect, Foster is someone who has always relished a Merseyside visit and hearing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' being sung by those inside the stadium.
