Ben Davies produced one of many solid performances for Tottenham, in their 3-1 victory over Leicester on Sunday. The win keeps Antonio Conte's side within touching distance of fourth-placed Arsenal, who also secured three points on Sunday, against West Ham.
The Lilywhites now have just four games left to try and ensure they are playing Champions League football next season. After Conte's side suffered a defeat to Brighton and draw at the Brentford Community Stadium, the game against Brendan Rodgers' side was a must-win.
It was an overall improvement for Tottenham, as they managed 13 shots and seven on target, a big change from the lack of shots in the previous couple of fixtures. Spurs' next match is a difficult trip to Anfield, but one Conte's side can now go into with a bit of momentum.

The Lilywhites' backline produced some solid spells of play, at both ends of the field. Davies had a shot and produced five accurate long balls, as well as making two clearances and two interceptions.
The Welsh international is one of the many players who have seen great improvement since Conte's arrival and he has been involved in creating a strong back three, alongside Eric Dier and Cristian Romero. The 29-year-old has faced his fair share of criticism but seems to have found his form and secure position, on the left of the defensive trio.
In his post-match press conference, Conte reiterated the importance of a good team performance. "I think every single player played very well," he admitted.
"For us, it's very important to do well with the whole team if we want to get three points. It's no good to play with one, two or three players playing good.
"We need the whole team playing well and to find a good balance. When this happens, we can win the game," the Italian added.
This was the case for Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and helped them secure the vital three points, which Davies highlighted in his post-match interview with Spurs TV. "We had two results that were tough for us to take but today was good, it was a good way to bounce back," the defender explained.
"We played with confidence, we were clinical when we needed to be and a good three points." Davies was then asked about the desire that Tottenham showed throughout.
"Yeah, that was what the gaffer demanded. He demanded that we go out there and put on a good performance and show that we've got the character to bounce back and that's what we did today," he admitted.
The Italian has implemented his regimented managerial tactics since he made the move back to the capital and it has been welcomed by all at Spurs. With Conte's success at previous clubs, it is crucial for the Lilywhites to follow his advice, to help them get the most out of each game.
Romero also produced a solid display against The Foxes. Not only did the Argentine produce two solid tackles in the buildup to Tottenham's second goal, but the 24-year-old also spent the whole game up and down the pitch, showing aggression in challenges and highlighting his impact.
"As defenders, we want to be on the front foot and that's what the manager asks for. When the ball is there to be won, he's going to go for it and he set us up perfectly for that second goal and when you've got the quality we have upfront, if you get them in any sort of space they're deadly," Davies said on Romero.
Tottenham need to take the momentum from Sunday's win into their final stretch of the season, which Davies said they are taking "game by game". Their next fixture and arguably most difficult on paper, is away against Liverpool, who are battling for the league title and it is three points that both sides need.
