Being Gordon Ramsay on Netflix review: You'd think a chef would know how to trim the fat

Is Gordon Ramsay a real chef, or is he a TV chef? This is the question that plagues Being Gordon Ramsay, the new Netflix documentary that follows the 59-year-old media star as he attempts his biggest (or should we say, highest) project yet: opening five culinary experiences within London’s second-tallest skyscraper, 22 Bishopsgate.

The documentary never actively seeks to answer this question, because it can’t —at least not until Gordon Ramsay can. Instead, it haunts the six-episode-long series like an itch you can’t quite scratch. Or something you were just about to Google but forgot as soon as you opened the tab.
