Jamie Carragher has told Peter Schmeichel to 'behave himself' after the former Manchester United goalkeeper claimed that neither Liverpool or Manchester City would reach the Champions League final.
The two pundits were discussing European football's top competition on CBS Sports when Schmeichel made the claim, irking Carragher.
Both Liverpool and City secured first legs wins in their quarter-final ties against Benfica and Atletico Madrid respectively this week but the Dane is predicting a Bayern Munich v Real Madrid final.

Schmeichel, who also played for City, said: “Bayern and Liverpool will play (in the semi-finals). I think Bayern will beat them.”
"Oh, behave," responded said Carragher. As fellow pundits in the studio laughed, the ex-Liverpool defender followed up with: “No, no. You need to start behaving. Honest to God. What are you talking about?”
Clarifying his viewpoint, Schmeichel said: “A Bayern v Real Madrid final. I tell you why. Too much is going on between Liverpool and Man City. Too much pressure. Real Madrid and Bayern are so far ahead in their leagues. They can rest players and prepare for this. Man City and Liverpool can’t.”
Real Madrid secured a 3-1 win in their Champions League quarter-final first leg at Chelsea but Bayern have work to do having gone down 1-0 at Villareal.
Carragher was also annoyed by how many pundits on the CBS Sports panel selected City as their eventual winners of the competition.
He said: “I can’t believe you guys have gone for Man City. A club that has never won this trophy. A club that has never done anything in this competition."
City hold a narrow 1-0 advantage over Atletico Madrid at the halfway stage in their tie while Liverpool enjoy a two-goal cushion having won 3-1 in Lisbon on Tuesday evening.
