Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson suffered a shoulder injury late in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Bears have ruled Johnson as questionable to return.
Johnson, who’s in a contract year, has been having a career year with Chicago. He’s established himself as one of the NFL’s best cover cornerbacks, and he’s also shown his ability to create takeaways (he has four interceptions on the season).
With Johnson out, it’s the rookie show with Tyrique Stevenson and Terell Smith on the outside with second-year corner Kyler Gordon in the slot.

Stevenson has one of two interceptions for Chicago’s defense, which has done a good job of limiting the Falcons offense through the first three quarters.
Let’s see if the Bears defense can hold on through the fourth quarter, which has been a challenge for Chicago this season.
