Bez looks delighted to be off Dancing On Ice as ITV fix claims rage on

Dancing On Ice star Bez was all smiles as he left his hotel this morning after being booted off Dancing On Ice last night.

The Happy Mondays star, 57, left the show after the judges voted to save Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor, 58, in the skate-off.

Despite giving the audience moments of sheer joy with his crash helmet and maracas, many fans thought it was time the father-of-three hung up his skates.

And in pics taken today - it looks like Bez was in agreement.

Grinning from ear to ear, wearing a navy tracksuit, the Step On star looked like he was carrying two training aids for the ice.

In another shot Bez pulled a sizeable suitcase, which may well have contained his beloved crash helmet.

The star's exit from Dancing On Ice comes after fans have accused the show's judges of favouring certain contestants.

Many thought the musician should have packed his bags in week three and now Brendan Cole and Regan Gascoigne have found themselves at the centre of the drama.

Regan, 26, whose father is former footballer Paul Gascoigne, is odds-on favourite to win the show - however he's been dancing professionally for years.

Fans reckon his experience with musical theatre and dance troupe Qdos Entertainment have given him an unfair advantage.

However the brother of reality star Bianca Gascoigne pointed out to The Mirror that "dancing was different to skating".

During Sunday’s show, viewers were fuming when Regan was scored highly, despite stumbling during his routine.

“Again Regan is scored ultra high, he did not complete the judges challenge did one jump and then stumbled,” one tweeted, angrily.

Former Strictly star Brendan Cole, 45, has also come under fire for his links to former colleague and show judge Arlene Phillips.

The 78-year-old, gave the New Zealander and his skating partner Brendyn Hatfield the first 10 of the series.

However Brendan might wish the dance expert hadn't have been so generous, as fans thought the scoring was decidedly dodgy.

“The night Dancing on Ice becomes Fix on Ice! Brendan gets his mate on the judges panel and she gives him a 10 while marking others up to 2 points lower than the other judges!” an irate viewer tweeted."

Another fumed: "They shouldn't have dancers on there against people who can't/don't dance. It should be ALL DANCERS or NO DANCERS to make it equal and fair!”

Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday on ITV at 6.30 pm
