BBC The One Show presenters were left visibly taken aback as a television guest took an obvious swipe at former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan.
There was an audible reaction from hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas as guest Matt Allwright made his feelings very well known, reports Birmingham Live.
The television presenters were joined by special guests Grace Dent, Ainsley Harriot and James Acaster on Wednesday night's episode.

However, the first guest, Matt Allwright, appeared on the couch in the beginning as he presented the latest edition of Watchdog.
As he introduced his weekly segment, Matt said: "Tonight, in The One Show's Green Week you might think you're saving environmentally sound pounds but does your pension need some attention?"
He continued: "I've been talking to film maker Richard Curtis as he's on a mission to stop the nation's nest eggs being part of the planet's problem. And we've forced the subs to come to the surface - the subscriptions that are so hard to cancel you'd think they'd taken tips from Piers Morgan."
The camera switched back to show hosts Alex and Jermaine, who looked visibly speechless at Matt's comments.
Alex gasped as Jermaine tried to laugh off the comment, and said: "Thank you very much Matt", before hurriedly introducing the next segment.
Viewers took to social media to display their opinion on the Piers Morgan comment, with one Twitter user saying: "Had to rewind that to see if he said what I thought"
Another wrote: "Wow, try not to make it too obvious!"
And a third said: "Did he just say that?"
The One Show airs on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
