The Apprentice has finally returned to our TV screens and 18 more candidates are hoping to win an investment from Lord Alan Sugar. Find out who this year’s hopefuls are here.
2023 marks the 17th series of the BBC show. In The Apprentice, a group of businesspeople compete in a series of business-related challenges set by Lord Sugar in a bid to win a £250,000 investment.
Helping Lord Sugar in his search for a new business partner is Karren Brady and Claude Littner. Last series, former Apprentice winner Tim Campbell stepped in for Claude whilst he recovered from an accident. But where is Tim this year? Here’s everything you need to know.
Will Tim Campbell be on this year’s series of The Apprentice?
While he isn't present in the first episode of this year’s series of The Apprentice, Tim will return in the second. He shares Lord Sugar-aide duties with Claude Littner, who is still recovering following a cycling accident in which he nearly lost his leg.
After crashing near his home in 2021, Littner was rushed to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington where surgeons were, thankfully, able to save his leg. Since then, he has undergone several surgeries and physical therapy to help him recover, which is partly why he will only be appearing in the first and 11th episode of this series.
The Apprentice airs on BBC One on Thursdays at 9pm. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
