Strictly Come Dancing star Hamza Yassin has thanked his “absolutely amazing” pro partner Jowita Przystal as the pair complete their final rehearsal.
The 32-year-old wildlife expert will take to the BBC dance floor tomorrow night in a bid to take the glitter ball trophy after impressing judges and viewers at home with his moves every week since the series started.
Ahead of the final, Hamza paid tribute to Jowita again with another heartfelt message as he looked back on their “incredible journey” together.
The Sudan-born star, who moved to the UK when he was eight, shared an Instastory to fans as the pair finished their last session, saying: “Rehearsals done, last one together in this room.
“It’s been an absolutely incredible journey, I’ve said it all along, you are absolutely amazing.”
Hamza, who has lived in Scotland for 13 years, has consistently been one of the bookies’ favourites to win Strictly this year.
The cameraman and presenter’s odds are now as short as 4/9 to win this year, according to the latest figures ahead of this weekend's final.
William Hill have moved his odds from 1/2 to 4/9 in the space of three days, giving him a 69% chance of winning from 66% earlier in the week.
And according to online betting guide OLBG: “We may well see the odds shorten even more ahead of Saturday's final with the market constantly moving before Saturday's final.”
Hamza, who moved to the Ardnamurchan peninsula after university to hone his skills as a wildlife cameraman, had sent fans wild on Saturday night with a performance inspired by Scotland.
He took to the Strictly stage sporting a kilt - much to the delight of fans - and his Charlston performance had another key Scots link as he danced the Charleston to Pencil Full of Lead by Paolo Nutini.
Afterwards, an emotional Hamza paid tribute to Jowita, saying "fantastic journey darling".
And it seems that the fond feelings are mutual between the dancers, as Jowita had some kind words to say back to her partner.
Taking to Instagram after Monday night's results show, Jowita posted four snaps of them together, saying: " This is it… you did it partner! We did it!
"We are in the final of @bbcstrictly and I couldn’t be more proud of you @hamzayassin90 beyond thankful for all your votes and support now it’s time to go there and celebrate our journey x I had the best time, let’s make the most of it x"
Hamza will face Fleur East, Helen Skelton and Molly Rainford in the final.
Strictly Come Dancing: The Final will air live on Saturday at 7.15pm, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
