Singer Matt Goss swapped the microphone for dancing shoes as made his debut on Strictly with pro dancer Nadia Bychkova. The eighties heartthrob, who shot to fame in the band Bros, was beaming after he and his Strictly Come Dancing partner performed the quickstep to Sir Duke, but not everyone was happy.
Over on the judging panel Anton Du Beke picked fault, making comments including: "I'd like a better line through the body." Matt, who is also famous for his successful Vegas residency, also wanted to know where he had gone right.
"What was good?" he asked the show's former pro dancer Anton. "Feet, timing, style, musicality," listed Anton. But then he added: "Unfortunately you looked like an unmade bed."

The comment led host Tess Daly to ask: "What are you the new Craig?", referencing his fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood, who is known for his sharp tongue. And there was amazement as Craig waded in to defend Matt, 53.
"They're all being really nasty," he said. "That was punchy. It was a really great routine." As Tess turned to Motsi Mabuse she gasped: "I'm still recovering. I don't know what happened to Craig."
Later fans of the BBC dance contest were dumbfounded as Drop The Boy and When Will I Be Famous hitmaker raked in fives across the board, putting him close to the bottom of the leaderboard. @LittleMGiggles was among the supporters defending him.
They tweeted: "@mattgoss described as an 'unmade bed' on @bbcstrictly haha Matt Goss and an unmade bed is a bloody dream come true! #TeamMattGoss." And @LESLEYLONDON agreed: "I thought that comment was so rude!!"
@JamesLeon1 asked: "How was Matt Goss the second lowest score? There were far worse." @TheTrevorDurham commented: "Matt Goss quickstep literally one of best dances so far tonight, and gets the lowest score so far from the judges. What the?!? Some very random scoring tonight."
@MissCEWalker wrote: "But no way was @mattgoss second worst. Not even close. Even with my bias hat off..." @annief1 complained: "Matt Goss should have been given higher scores."
@blueskies_me echoed: "Totally undermarked. He didn't put a foot wrong. Timing..perfect! Sharp moves. Only the frame was the criticism. .why? #Strictly." And @festinagirl said: "Matt Goss criminally undermarked."
