James Bye BBC Strictly Come Dancing Claudia Winkleman

Strictly Come Dancing 's James Bye was left in tears after his performance on Saturday night, as he thanked BBC bosses for the "life-changing" opportunity on the show.

James - best known for his role as loveable market trader Martin Fowler in EastEnders - welled up after dancing to the soap's theme tune alongside pro-dance partner Amy Dowden.

The pair joined forces for the choreographed piece in a nod to the BBC's 100th anniversary for the BBC themed week, writes Daily Star.
