BBC One's Saturday Kitchen was in "chaos" after a guest collapsed to the floor. Guest chef Alison Roman ended up on the floor when her seat broke.
She joined Matt Tebbutt on the BBC show to make a summer dessert for fellow guests Nina Wadia and Helen McGinn, reports Birmingham Live. The incident happened as Alison and Matt were serving up a raspberry cake to Nina, Helen and fellow chef Nathan Outlaw.
Matt was slicing up the dessert while Alison placed an accompanying dish of raspberries and cream on the table. However, when she took her seat, she didn't sit on one of the chairs but the small wine table.

Viewers watched on in shock as the table gave way and Alison fell to the floor. The group gasped as Helen immediately jumped to help Alison, asking: "Are you alright?" "That is not a chair," Alison said as she quickly got to her feet.
Matt asked: "Did you just sit on the wine table?" as Alison cringed: "I did."
Helen helped the chef into a proper chair as Alison explained: "We didn't do that in rehearsal. Wow, I'm never coming back to London ever again."
As Helen asked again if Alison was okay, she reassured: "I am okay," as Matt insisted: "Get her a drink."
The wine expert smiled: "First things first, I'm going to pour you a massive glass of sparkling."
"That's what we do in a crisis," Matt said as Alison laughed. "We either drink tea or crack open some wine."
Alison smiled: "Perfect, I'll have both. Thank you so much." Matt went on to reassure his guest: "Don't worry nobody saw!"
