BBC Morning Live cut cameras after disaster seconds before show ends

BBC Morning Live viewers were left very concerned after Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara accidentally kicked a dog in the face.

The TV show had a dramatic ending as Janette was spun around by her husband Aljaž Škorjanec. Host Gethin Jones was closing the programme, saying goodbye to viewers when the incident happened.

Unfortunately, Dolly, the dog, became rather interested in Janette and Aljaz routine and went to get a closer look. However, as Janette was being spun she accidentally kicked Dolly in the snout.

Moments before the dramatic turn, Gethin could be heard shouting for Dolly to move - however, it was too late as audible gasps were heard when Janette's foot struck the Labrador.

Cutting away from the scene, all microphones in the studio were muted and the credits began to roll.

Fortunately, Dr James Greenwood, who owns Dolly, responded to viewers concerns as they questioned if she was ok. He tweeted: "She is totally fine! Getting stuck into a chew stick on the way home."

He added: "I can confirm she is 100% all good, no harm done."
