EastEnders fans found themselves overcome with emotion as they watched Linda Henry left in tears after being serenaded on set. The actress, who is famed for playing Linda Carter in the BBC One soap, was mesmerized by the voice of Rag’n’Bone Man who paid a visit to Walford last year.
The singer was revealed to be Rocky’s music guest for the carol concert fundraiser, in scenes that aired just before Christmas on December 23. After bumping into the familiar face in The Queen Vic, Rocky manages to persuade the award-winning musician to perform at the carol concert under the twinkling lights of Albert Square as a wedding gift to Janine and Mick.
Prior to his screen debut, Rag’n’Bone Man, whose real name is Rory Charles Graham, said: "In the words of Gabrielle 'dreams can come true'. Thanks to everyone at EastEnders for one of the best days of my life!!"

But weeks after the scenes aired, Rag’n’Bone Man has taken to social media with a video of him 'taking requests' from the soap's famous cast. The clip showed him giving a stripped-back rendition of his hit track Skin with Linda and her co-star Jessie Wallace, who is famed for playing Kat Slater in the soap, stood as close as possible, looking up at the musician.
Some of the soap's younger cast, including Freddie Brazier, then came in to listen with other members of the cast and crew, including Stacey Slater star Lacey Turner, spotted in the background listening to the performance and holding their phones as they captured the special moment.
But Linda, who was clearly the most mesmerized by the exclusive performance, was also the most emotional as she appeared to burst into tears just before the video ended. Posting the video to his social media channels, Rag’n’Bone Man wrote: "Don't normally take requests but when in Walford."
And fans couldn't help but comment on Linda's reaction. user784881151788 said: "I love this the emotion on Shirley's face says it all. amazing." Ellen-Mary commented: "Shirley has me full on sobbing." Glasgowgal14 posted: "Wow his voice is haunting. So raw and beautiful. No wonder Shirley was emotional."
Katrina O’Neill wrote: "This is amazing.. Oh Shirley. I love Rag ‘n bone man so much and this song but Shirley had me sobbing."
