BBC Breakfast has announced that presenter Nina Warhurst has given birth to her third child. The 42-year-old only went on maternity leave last week but on Monday colleagues Jon Kay and Sally Nugent gave viewers a happy update.
Sally said: "Some very, very happy news to share about our colleague Nina Warhurst. We said goodbye to her not very many days ago as she went off on maternity leave. "She has welcomed a very healthy, beautiful baby girl."
Co-presenter Jon said that the name was still "a work in progress". He added: "The great news is they are all doing well after what Nina says was brilliant care from the team at St Mary's in Manchester."
