Better viewers have been left with plenty of questions following the ending of the fourth episode of the Leeds-based crime drama.
In the latest episode, DI Lou Slack unsuccessfully tries to set up drug dealer Col McHugh. Col, played by actor Andrew Buchan, retaliates by taking her son Owen hostage (although Owen is oblivious to the part he plays in his plans).
During an emotionally-charged showdown, Col goes as far as to point a gun at her head but can't bring himself to pull the trigger. He eventually lets her go but warns that this would be her last chance.
