Viewers of the Antiques Roadshow were left 'fuming' as their usual weekend viewing was scrapped. Fiona Bruce and the team would have usually been on the small screen on Sunday evening but it was all change last night (April 23) when there were no interesting items being valued.
The BBC One favourite normally airs at 8pm but on Sunday evening it was bumped from the schedule because of the FA Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Brighton going over its scheduled time.
Erik ten Hag’s side didn't make things easy as Brighton made them sweat as the south-coast club sought to reach just their second FA Cup final, with the semi-final ending 0-0 after 120 minutes at Wembley. The first 12 penalties of the shoot-out found the net before Albion favourite Solly March blazed over, allowing Victor Lindelof to win it 7-6 and set up an all-Manchester final against Manchester City in June.

And with the footballing action having gone on for longer than expected, the BBC ditched the usual show of Antiques Roadshow and instead showed Our Changing Planet.
But not everyone was happy with the change. @pantskate complained: "Fewmin no #Antiquesroadshow @BBC shambles yet again." @DouglasDare tweeted: "BBC not airing #AntiquesRoadshow because football overran. I take this as a personal attack."
@ShirleyaCook wrote: "One programme i like on the bbc and its cancelled not happy bbc! #AntiquesRoadshow." @LewysThoughts added: "No Antiques Roadshow? You've just ruined Sunday. I went to get some pound coins earlier for our guesses! I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed. My 5 year old daughter is proper f****d off though. #BBC."
