BBC announces Eurovision Song Contest events in other major UK cities

The BBC has announced that a number of UK cities will partake in celebrating the Eurovision Song contest.

The contest will become a nationwide event with major cities across the United Kingdom holding their own large-scale official screenings of the contest's Grand Final. Those confirmed so far to hold official screenings are: Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Darlington, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield. More are set to be confirmed over the coming weeks.
