The BBC 6 music festival has arrived in Cardiff, kicking off with an intimate gig from the legendary Manic Street Preachers at Clwb Ifor Bach. The festival is set to last from April 1-3, with a huge range of incredible acts in the line-up, including Idles, Bloc Party, and Pixies.
Gigs will also take place at Y Plas at Cardiff University, Clwb Ifor Bach and Tramshed, where the afternoon and late night events will take place. Tickets went on sale back in February, but if you're still looking to attend some gigs as part of the festival, you might well be in luck. Friday, April 1
There are still some tickets left for a few of Friday's events, including Ibeyi, Porji, Obongjayar at Y Plas, 6.30pm and Sherelle, Overmono, Tom Ravenscroft, Afrodeutsche, Elkka at Tramshed, 10pm.
Saturday, April 2
There are tickets left for the following events on Saturday including BBC 6 Music Festival 2022 - In Conversations, DJ sets and Q&A's at Tramshed, 11.45am and Orlando Weeks, Gwenno at Y Plas, 6.30pm.
Sunday, April 3
There are tickets left for the following two events on Sunday at BBC 6 Music Festival 2022 - In Conversations, DJ sets and Q&A's at Tramshed, 11.45pm at The Mysterines, Big Joanie, The Bug Club at Y Plas, 6.30pm.

Who's playing?
The top headline acts for the weekend include Little Simz, Father John Misty, Johnny Marr, Pixies, IDLEs, and Bloc Party. Other acts include Beabadoobee, Audiobooks, Big Joanie, Cat Power, Gruff Rhys, Lucy Dacus, Sports Team, Wet Leg, and many more, both by day and night. There are also late DJ sets, featuring sets from the likes of Afrodeutsche and Craig Charles. You can see the full lineup here.
Where can you catch up with performances if you don't have a ticket?
If you've not been able to grab tickets to the act you want to see, have no fear - there are plenty of ways for you to watch and listen. The BBC has four days and nights' worth of coverage across BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer, including an iPlayer Festival channel on Sunday at 2pm.
On Friday night, BBC iPlayer is showing 6 Music Festival - The Warm Up , where you can watch performances from Self Esteem, Johnny Marr, IDLES and more from across the BBC. You can also listen live to sets playing across the festival including Pixies, starting at 7pm, Lucy Dacus at 8.30pm, Mykki Blanco at 9pm, and Little Simz at 10pm.
On Saturday, you can catch Khrungbin live from The Great Hall on BBC Sounds live at 9.40pm. At 11.30pm, Bloc Party will close the BBC's coverage for the day on BBC Sounds . Sunday's acts will be shown on BBC iPlayer's 6 Music Festival channel, starting at 2pm with Beabadoobee. The channel will show over 10 hours of live music, ending with a live stream of Gruff Rhys, Cat Power, and Father John Misty's performances from St David's Hall.
