Bayern Munich submit £60m plus add-ons transfer offer for Tottenham star Harry Kane

Bayern Munich have submitted an official proposal to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur this summer. Thomas Tuchel is keen on signing the England captain with the German outfit launching a £60million plus add-ons offer as they look to strike a deal with Daniel Levy.

football.london understands Spurs are still making it very clear that they would immediately reject a bid for Kane should they receive one. Therefore, the likelihood is that unless Tottenham receive a record-breaking bid, it will be rejected out of hand.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern have informed Victor Osimhen's representatives that they are now prioritising a move for Kane over the Napoli star. A report from The Athletic has stated that Bayern have now made their first move for the 29-year-old striker and are awaiting a response from Spurs.

Kane has been a Manchester United target since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was manager and current boss Erik ten Hag is also a known admirer. However, Spurs are thought to prefer to sell Kane abroad rather than to a direct rival in the Premier League.

Carlo Ancelotti was reported to have told Real Madrid's board he wanted to sign the England international at a key meeting to discuss transfers in June. However, it is only Bayern that have made a formal approach for Kane so far - despite plenty of interest from across Europe.

Kane’s contract negotiations with Tottenham were put on hold last season, with the striker instead focusing on trying to help the club return to the Champions League. After Spurs missed out on European football altogether following an eighth-placed finish in the Premier League - Kane may decide that he wants to play Champions League football as he moves into the latter stages of his career.

Who should Spurs keep or sell this summer...?
