Bayern Munich director Hasan Salihamidzic has predicted things to "calm down" regarding the speculation over Robert Lewandowski's future. The Poland international recently said his career with the Bundesliga champions is over.
Lewandowski said this last month: "My era at Bayern is over. I don't see any possibility to continue playing for this club anymore.
"Bayern is a serious club and I believe they won't keep me, I don't want to play there anymore. A transfer is the best solution. I hope they do not stop me."

Chelsea are looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer and Lewandowski has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. Judging by Salihamidzic's recent comments, though, the Pole could be set to stay at Bayern for another season at least, with his contract due to expire next summer.
He said: "He has a contract until 2023 and we're very happy that he's here. I think things will get calmer now. We discussed about his public statements and that we should all calm down."
The Blues have identified alternatives to Lewandowski, with Gabriel Jesus of Manchester City of interest. football.london understands there has been dialogue between Chelsea and Jesus' agent recently.
Christopher Nkunku is a long-term target of Chelsea's, but there is said to be plenty of interest from elsewhere as well. RB Leipzig are trying their best to convince the France international to sign a new contract with the German club.
Raheem Sterling has also been linked in recent days, with the Man City attacker having just over 12 months remaining on his current contract at the Etihad Stadium. Ousmane Dembele is set to become a free agent when his contract at Barcelona expires at the end of the month and he is also being looked at by Chelsea.
