Rangers hero Barry Ferguson has been left angry with how his former club allowed Celtic to thrash them in the first derby of the season.
A Liel Abada double and Jota's lob made it 3-0 to the Hoops before half-time and David Turnbull pounced on a slack Jon McLaughlin backpass to make it a 4-0 win. It puts Celtic five points clear at the top of the Premiership and leaves Rangers reeling ahead of their first Champions League group stage game against Ajax.
Number one goalkeeper McLaughlin got a hand to Abada's first but not enough to prevent it going in after Ryan Kent allowed a quick throw to be taken, and was lobbed at his front post by Jota after one Matt O'Riley pass cut the defence open. Abada was all on his own to notch the third before the disastrous fourth and Ferguson says it was goals that Rangers are totally to blame for.
