Barcelona legend Xavi's candid admissions on Man City and Pep Guardiola's treble chances

Pep Guardiola Xavi Manchester City Alvarez Erling Haaland Arsenal FC Barcelona Fulham UEFA Champions League

Barcelona boss Xavi believes it would be 'fair' if Manchester City ended up winning the treble this season and feels the Premier League champions under his old boss Pep Guardiola is a 'mirror' to look up to.

City are in the running for three competitions this season. The Etihad Stadium club have retaken the lead at the summit of the Premier League from Arsenal over the weekend.

Guardiola's side beat the Gunners in midweek before beating Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage on Saturday. It has seen them move a point clear of Arsenal with a game in hand. City are also into the Champions League semi-finals with a mouthwatering tie against 14-times European champions Real Madrid with Guardiola's men travel to the Santiago Bernabeu next Tuesday for the first leg.
