Barcelona supporters are torn on Frenkie de Jong amid ongoing interest from Manchester United.
De Jong, 25, remains the priority target for Erik ten Hag after United struck moves for Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez. An ongoing push for De Jong has not been straightforward, though, despite United initially reaching an agreement in principle for him.
Complications have arisen due to wages that were deferred by De Jong during the Covid-19 pandemic and United sources indicate that has been a major stumbling block. However, key figures at Old Trafford continue to pursue De Jong due to lingering concerns over alternative options should the Netherlands international not sign.
