The UK economy is stagnating and forecast to see zero growth until 2025 as it teeters on the brink of recession, the Bank of England (BoE) revealed today.
The gloomy economic outlook came as the BoE decided to hold interest rates at 5.25 per cent – its highest level for 15 years.
