Baker's desserts unknowingly featured in Taylor Swift's music video

Baker receives last minute cake request to later find out it was for Taylor Swift

Baker and TikTok creator Katie Martirosyan recently shared an interesting story about her work being featured in a Taylor Swift music video. In a time-lapsed video where she creates another dessert, Martirosyan, the founder of Crumble Patisserie, reveals how she had no idea her creations were for the famous singer until much later.

According to Martirosyan, a few years ago, a visibly stressed woman walked into her store with a peculiar request. The woman needed to place an order but couldn't provide all the details right away. She explained that she would only inform Martirosyan a day or two in advance of what exactly she needed, which wasn't a lot of time for preparation.

The mysterious woman did mention that the order was for a music video production and for a big celebrity. However, Martirosyan didn't think much of it at the time. In the baking industry, celebrities are not an uncommon clientele, so she didn't expect it to be someone as well-known as Taylor Swift.

Just two days before the deadline, the woman finally placed the order. Although Martirosyan was able to meet the quick turnaround, she admits feeling stressed throughout the process. Little did she know the significance of her work at the time.

Months later, the same woman randomly texted Martirosyan to disclose the truth. 'Hey, by the way. It was for Taylor Swift,' she wrote, sending her the music video link. Martirosyan couldn't believe it and still thinks about this experience every day.

Curiosity among viewers was piqued when they learned about Martirosyan's involvement. They eagerly wanted to know which Taylor Swift music video her desserts were featured in. Speculations and debates began in the comment section, but Martirosyan eventually revealed that her desserts appeared in the music video for Swift's song 'I Bet You Think About Me.'

Viewers were both shocked and thrilled for Martirosyan. Some expressed their amazement, with comments like 'I would have simply passed away after finding out' and 'I saw the white designs and immediately thought of [I Bet You Think About Me].'

It's worth noting that Taylor Swift is not the first celebrity client of Martirosyan. She has previously created desserts for the likes of Kris and Kylie Jenner.

Martirosyan's story serves as a reminder that sometimes we never truly know where our work might end up. In her case, it turned out to be an unexpected and exciting connection to a major music video by one of the biggest names in the industry.
