While most Easter eggs tend to be filled with a selection of chocolatey goodness, a selection of brands have created far more bizarre creations in recent years. Whether you're a fan of cheese, or nuts, you're likely to find something to suit your fancy with new quirky releases.
Taking it one step further, popular restaurant Frankie & Benny's has left fans stumped after creating a huge meatball Easter egg, in collaboration with Great British Bake Off star Lottie Bedlow.
The unique treat has left fans scratching their heads after believing the chocolate is created from real meat.
The Easter egg took a whopping total of 30 hours to practice - with an additional five hours to assemble.
The edible snack is completed with jelly pasta and white chocolate, alongside raspberry coulis sauce.
Sharing the release of the new arrival on Instagram, Frankie & Benny's explained how people can win the egg for themselves.
They explained: "This Easter we wanted to go big. Gigantic in fact.
"What better way to do so than in the form of a Giant Chocolate Meatball Easter Egg? Genius, right? Until we realised we had to find someone willing to make a huge, lifelike meatball...
"Thankfully @lottiegotcake , former The Great British Bake Off contestant, agreed. AMAZING! Let's see how she gets on..."
"Dine in from 22nd March - 16th April for your chance to win the egg!" They added.
The world-exclusive egg is allegedly ten times bigger than your regular chocolate snack. The restaurant described it as 'the giant chocolate meatball Easter egg'.
Lottie explained: "I was tasked by Frankie and Benny's to make a giant meatball complete with spaghetti, they wanted it football size, made of pure chocolate and hollow inside. The first attempt with the mould failed."
To enter, people should head down to their local Frankie & Benny's, look for a picture of the Lottie's face, scan the QR code on one of the tables, and fill in your details. It's as simple as that.
Since sharing the mega egg online, people have been left seriously baffled in the comment section.
One confused person wrote: "Now if that was chocolate, I'd be in x."
"Does this contain meat?" A second perplexed Instagram user questioned.
The restaurant confirmed: "We can confirm that this is entirely made of chocolate and will not come in contact with any meat."
Meanwhile, someone else said: "Looks brilliant."
