Francesco Bagnaia's victory in the sprint race at the Italian Grand Prix has further solidified his position at the top of the world championship standings in MotoGP.

Bagnaia, representing Ducati, clinched the win in front of his home crowd, earning valuable points in the process. His title rival and closest competitor, Marco Bezzecchi of VR46 Racing, finished second in the race.
