Unpalatable Guinness, devastating rugby losses and an umbrella on a rainy day have all been gifted to senators and declared on their register of interests.
The opposition spokeswoman for sport Anne Ruston enjoyed Socceroos matches as well as watching Adelaide United and Port Adelaide in her home state.
But oddly, the South Australian seems to have a penchant for the North Queensland Cowboys, adding a membership as a potential conflict of interest.
The Cowboys are pushing the top eight in the NRL.
Queensland LNP senator Susan McDonald appeared more at home with her Cowboys support, attending their games against the Dolphins, Panthers, and Warriors.
They lost all three.
Trade Minister Don Farrell sees the bigger picture after being gifted Malcolm Turnbull's book by the same name.
A Bigger Picture by the former Liberal prime minister is his political memoir, retailing for $55.
Senator Farrell also attended the opening night of the Elvis and Tina Turner musicals in Adelaide.
NSW Nationals senator Ross Cadell was less musicals and more munchies as he claimed biscuits, popcorn, chocolate, lollies and ginger beer.
But the sweet tooth was left slightly disappointed after receiving a 470g value pack bag of Allen's Party Mix lollies, "which happens to be my second favourite Allen's bag of lollies behind their Retro Party Mix".
Senator Cadell also admitted he was let down by non-alcoholic Guinness at the Parliamentary Friends of Ireland in conjunction with the embassy.
"As a Lager drinker, found the Guinness a bit bitey, like watered-down Marmite," he said.
He was also gifted a CAT umbrella while leaving an event in the rain.
