Bad Bunny honours Pele in Brazil with touching gesture

Bad Bunny honoured Brazilian football legend Pelé by wearing a jacket he used in the 1966 World Cup during his second show in São Paulo on Saturday (21 February).

Cassio Brandão owns the rare piece. His archive of more than 7,000 jerseys is officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest football jersey collection.

“Benito took very good care of the piece. It came back only with sweat, wet with sweat, but it was perfect, in the same condition," the collector said.

Pelé's official Instagram account thanked the Grammy Award-winning artist for the tribute, saying that when someone like Bad Bunny honors "the King on Brazilian soil, it means the crown is still shining."
