Two baby goats have been found starving, malnourished and freezing cold after being abandoned in Co Down.
Animal welfare charity USPCA has hit out what it has called “another terrible case involving defenceless young animals being dumped at the roadside”.
The male kids are thought to be between two and three weeks old and “there were signs of their umbilical cords still attached” when members of the public spotted them in a ditch near Dromara on Tuesday evening.
