Babar Azam pips Chris Gayle to become fastest batter to score 10,000 T20 runs

NEW DELHI: Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam on Wednesday achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the fastest batter to score 10,000 runs in the T20 format.

Babar accomplished this milestone in just 271 innings, surpassing the previous record held by former West Indies star Chris Gayle, who took 285 innings to attain the feat. India's Virat Kohli is third on the list, having taken 299 innings.
