B&M selling £20 plug-in heater shoppers say 'blasts the room with heat'

As the cost of living crisis rumbles on, households have been looking for more affordable ways of heating their home.

To help keep energy bills down, many have resorted to portable electric heaters that are said to be more economical for short term use, whilst also being able to provide enough warmth for one room without needing the central heating.

While there are many to choose from right now, the Russell Hobbs Portable Plug-In Heater has received rave reviews from impressed shoppers for its lower running costs - and it is currently available in B&M stores.

Shoppers spotted the high-street retailer stocking this nifty little heater for just £20 - which is the cheapest price on the market. The same heater is on sale for £27.99 on the Russell Hobbs website, while Amazon is stocking it for £24.99.

The ceramic plug-in-heater is packed with a variety of great features that can help you keep your home warm for less as it can offer up to 30C heat from 500W power. It is also comes complete with two fan speeds, a LED digital display, a 12-hour function and a night light function. Add on its portable size, and it is perfect for travelling with.

When we had a look online, the Russell Hobbs Ceramic Plug-In Heater does not look to be available on the B&M website, so you might want to check in your local store for stock availability.

It has already proven to be quite a hit with shoppers from Amazon who have previously managed to snap it up before, with many leaving five star reviews for its ability to heat small rooms for less.

One review read: "Nice and simple to use and gives out a comfortable heat. Glad I purchased and have used it mainly in a bedroom at night. Worth the money for me, pleased I bought it."

A second happy shopper said: "Very powerful and economical to run, ideal if you gave a sitting area you directly want to blast with heat."

A third shopper wrote: "With energy bills rising, I was on the look out for a cheaper way to heat our home. I can honestly say, that’s these are fantastic. They feel very sturdy and give out a surprising amount of heat. They heat up a room no problem. I have one upstairs and one downstairs, and if I set the timer for one hour, they do a good job at taking the chill out of the air. If I shut the doors, then the room gets nice and toasty. Sure, they’re only 500 watts, so realistic - they won’t heat your house as well as central heating. However, if you’re looking for a cheaper way to warm up your room, and you don’t mind the whirring noise, then these are your answer.

While a fourth simply added: "Good heater and cheap to run."

You can check with your local B&M store for the Russell Hobbs Ceramic Plug-In Heater. You can also purchase the portable heater from Amazon and Russell Hobbs.
