Budget retail chain B&M has got shoppers talking again with its latest product release on Instagram, which has been making even the most loyal of fans scratch their heads in disbelief.
Earlier today (Wednesday) the retailer posted a photo of a pastel pink arc-shaped clock, alongside golden hour hands - but no numbers. The post’s caption reads: “This unique clock would look gorgeous in your home!
"It's a standout piece, and really adds quirky charm instantly! Who else is a fan?!”

Users flocked to submit their own opinion on the unorthodox clock, with a few giving B&M their unwavering approval. One user commented: “I've got this and it's lovely. It's not a loud ticker for anyone who wants it next to their bed” along with a laughing emoji.
A second user added: “This would look lush in the living room”, while another chimed in, “I want it!”
However, while some gave their nod of approval, others were bamboozled by how abstract in form the clock appeared, saying it lacked any practical use in their view. One user scoffed: “Can’t tell the time if there aren’t any numbers!”
A third user was certainly unamused by the clock as they wrote: “No it certainly would not! And I'd never be able to tell the time on it either! I'd have to Sharpie on some numbers.”
A fourth user appreciated the style of the clock, but expressed their own concern by writing: “It looks nice but it's not for me. I need to see numbers so I can see time I’d be guessing with this.”
A fifth user joked: “You call that a clock!!!” while another bluntly asked: “How the **** you meant to tell the time.” Another even stated that they felt that they were "being lied to".
In other B&M news, Simon Arora, billionaire co-owner and chief executive of B&M, has announced his retirement from the business. According to The Guardian, Simon will be standing down by early 2023 after running the chain for 18 years.
