A beautiful rabbit and her three baby bunnies are on the hunt for their forever home.
Maggie, a black Crossbreed female rabbit, and her adorable girls Eden, Annan and Ness – who have a blonde and black mix coat – are currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA at their Ayrshire animal rescue and rehoming centre.
They are all now ready to be rehomed and would love to be homed either in a group of four or in two pairs.
A Scottish SPCA spokesperson said: “Maggie gave birth to these beautiful girls at the centre.
“They are all well-handled but would definitely benefit from further handling to grow their confidence.
“They will happily come up to you, especially if you have some veg on offer, but would love their new owner to be patient and willing to let them come around in their own time.
“Once they are used to their new surroundings, you will be sure to see all their individual personalities really shine through.”
The animal welfare charity say their new owner would need to have knowledge of rabbit care and husbandry, and have an appropriate sized hutch/enclosure and run.
The girls may be able to live with other rabbits and could potentially live with children of any age.
The Scottish SPCA spokesperson added: “Rabbits are incredibly curious animals so will need a large area to explore with plenty of enrichment to ensure they get the mental and physical stimulation they requires.”
