Noemie Fox is on track for a podium finish in the canoe event at the ICF world championships in Sydney, provided she can clean up her errors, while the men's Australian team narrowly missed the medals.

Olympic gold medallist in the kayak cross at the 2024 Paris Games, Fox set a blistering time on her home course in Penrith - the only paddler in the 50-strong field to clock under 101 seconds.
