Audi worth £70,000 stolen from Ayrshire home after daylight house raid

An Audi worth around £70,000 has been stolen from a driveway of an Ayrshire home following a break-in.

The house in Stewarton's Fairways was raided after entry was forced at around 2pm yesterday with a number of items stolen from the home.

Keys for a black Audi RS4 estate car, registration E7 GJH, was taken from outside the house.

The high-end motor remains missing and detectives investigating believe that the car may have been driven in the direction of the M77 following the break-in.

Police say enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for information in connection with the incident.

Detective Sergeant Sarah Holland of Kilmarnock Police Station said: “We would urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the area to get in touch.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the Audi being driven on the road after the incident or who may have dashcam footage which could help our enquiries.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1706 of 7 December, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
